I haven't done one of these challenges in at least 6 months, but I missed doing them so I'm determined to start up again in 2008.
January's theme is Celebration. Here's a pic of me celebrating with my daughters on Christmas Eve:

What I'll look like in about 40 years:

Turning 30 soon has me thinking about getting older. This isn't helping much.

The self-portrait challenge for March involves using some kind of online tool to transform your picture.
I used Pikipimp to add a little extra to my "rock n' roll" photo. I was playing around with a fauxhawk one day and took a picture. I added a few extras to complete the rocker image.
I've always wanted a nose ring/stud but I've never had the guts to get one. I even bought a stud once, but my type-A personality self wouldn't let me actually get it pierced. Cigarette? Dabbled a little in college, but not really interested. Tattoo? When I was younger, yes, but not now. I always waited because I couldn't figure out what I wanted. Now I'm glad because I'm sure I would have hated whatever it was, seeing as how I change my mind constantly (it's the Gemini in me).
Rock n' Roll, baby!!!!!
The sweetest memories I have of Maddie as a baby are ones like this. She slept with us the first month or so since it was easier to breastfeed that way. Somehow we always woke up facing one another, nose to nose. Her sweet little face was the first thing I'd see every morning when I woke up.
